This might just be the cutest baby quilt of the year. With only 50 blocks, the quilt goes together quickly and makes playful use of the small-print fabrics. Cut the block fabric strips to to make the blocks. Cut the side borders at 6″ and the top/bottom borders at 4½″. The single fabric in the border that changes from light to dark looks more complicated than it is and is a great way to get movement in the border of the quilt. This is the perfect quilt to show off the medium-scale border prints.
